Community Guidelines

Last updated: May 11, 2026

SwoleX is a community for people who lift. We post our workouts, comment on each other's sessions, and run each other's programs. Like any community, it works only when everyone agrees to a few baseline rules.

What's not allowed

How moderation works

Every comment, post, profile field, custom exercise, and workout name passes through an automated content filter before it becomes visible to other users. The filter runs in two stages — a deterministic blocklist of identity-based slurs, and an AI moderation pass that evaluates context — and rejects content that violates the rules above.

When a comment is removed, the author sees a "Removed — community guidelines" label on their own bubble and a push notification. Other users never see the rejected comment. The author can edit and re-post if they believe the rejection was a false positive.

Reporting

Every user profile has a Report option (triple-dot menu). Use it when you see content that violates these guidelines. Reports queue for review by our team. We respond to every report; serious violations are actioned within 24 hours.

Blocking

You can block any user from the same triple-dot menu on their profile. Blocking is bidirectional and immediate: you won't see their posts, comments, or profile, and they won't see yours. Blocks are private — the other user is not notified.

Enforcement

Repeated or severe violations result in account suspension. Suspended accounts can still sign in to view their own data but cannot post, comment, react, or contact other users. The suspension reason is shown to the user on sign-in.

If you believe your account was suspended in error, email support@swolex.com with your handle and a brief description. We review every appeal.
