How clients work

  1. You send an invite link from the Trainer Console.
  2. The client signs up (or uses their existing SwoleX account) and accepts.
  3. They train as normal — log workouts, hit PRs, post to the feed, the whole free SwoleX experience.
  4. Their training history flows into your console: sessions, calibration, stalls, what they actually lifted vs. what you planned.

Clients use SwoleX free

Your clients don't need a Pro or Trainer subscription — they use SwoleX on the standard free tier. That covers unlimited workout logging, full history, PRs, the social feed, share cards, the rest timer, everything they need to actually train. Your $29/mo carries the relationship; they never see a paywall.

Their training stays public if they want

Workouts you assign show up on your client's feed exactly like their self-logged ones — same share cards, same PRs, same follower reactions. Training under your guidance becomes public proof of work, not hidden in a private channel. Each client controls what they post; nothing auto-shares.

Publishing programs to the public catalog

Trainer subscription includes Creator access automatically. When you subscribe, your account is flagged as a publisher — you can ship programs to the SwoleX catalog (free or paid) as soon as the trial starts. You don't have to use it. Plenty of trainers only manage their own roster and never publish publicly.

Not a Trainer but want to publish? There's a separate, free Creator-only path. It's application-based — we review every applicant manually to keep the catalog quality high. Apply from your account page; we ask for your content focus, a short bio, and (optionally) a social link.

Earning revenue

The Trainer subscription itself doesn't generate income — it's a tool for running clients. Revenue comes from your bundled Creator privileges:

  • $Paid programs. Publish a program to the catalog, set the price. Anyone with a SwoleX account can buy it.
  • $Creator subscriptions. Set a monthly price on your creator profile. Fans subscribe for ongoing access to your premium content.

Revenue split

85% to you · 15% to SwoleX

Applied to every program sale and every creator subscription. Payments flow through Stripe Connect — you link a Stripe Express account from Console → Payouts, and Stripe pays you directly on their normal schedule. SwoleX never holds your money on a separate ledger.

Stripe collects a card at signup but doesn't charge until day 8. Use those 7 days to invite a client or two, walk through the console, and decide. Cancel any time before the trial ends in your Stripe portal and you're not charged a cent. If you're not signed in yet you'll be sent through the login flow first, then back here.
